Sadly it was really windy when I got my friend to take pictures of me in Liverpool, but the wind and the rain didn’t stop me from having a fantastic day! I really enjoyed the exhibit on April Ashley as Corbett was a key case in Family Law and I was pleased to have the chance to know more about her.

This is my newest vintage addition to my wardrobe. It’s in perfect condition and I really love the length. I have no particular occasion for wearing this so I decided to give it a whirl today for my visit to the Tate with a friend!

(This post might seem like I’m disgustingly organised in my outfit planning. It feels like I’m disgustingly organised!)
Outfit for the Tea Party Club’s 7th Anniversary, featuring Metamorphose
Metamorphose ‘Princess Wardrobe’ Luckypack Lace Up JSK (Medium Length) and Socks
Vintage Gold Blouse
Hush Puppies Shoes
I love Meta, and I think this event will be the perfect chance to first wear my Princess Wardrobe set out! I feel like I have pushed myself away from my comfort zone of “wear a cream blouse with everything”, and I like how it ties in the socks and lets the pink chest frill really pop!
Not sure what I’m doing accessory wise, but as I have over a month to plan, I’m sure I’ll think of something…

I bought another vintage sailor dress! This is a lot more casual than my last, I can see myself wearing it all the time during the rest of the summer. I’m also hoping that I can wear it under a lolita skirt as a cute sailor cutsew type thing.
Yes, I have a slight sailor addiction…

vivi-shiba:

you should go to this.
It’s in London on the 20th September, and Metamorphose, Tohie Mihashi (the editor of the Gothic and Lolita Bible…!) and Ai Akizuki will all be there (basically the president of lolita - she founded Gothic & Lolita & Punk no Kai in Japan, which is like the loli council).
Tickets start at £40 (this includes a free brand new Meta gift!! D:) or £50 for VIP entry (contains your ticket and free gift - and a commemorative tote bag with MORE FREE STUFF INSIDE).
There’s a big fancy tea party on the Sunday as well, tickets above. I’m going and so is 90% of the UK lolita community, last year we had TONS of people fly in from America and Europe so followers pls?
Oh, also: Metamorphose are looking for event models, so there’s that >:3

Hijacking this because I seriously couldn’t express my enthusiasm over this event any better! One thing to add: it’s currently due to be held in Gray’s Inn. The four Inns of Court are historic institutions in London, and Gray’s has constantly been described to me as the prettiest of the four. It has stunning buildings, and a gorgeously well-maintained garden, perfect for being the backdrop to photos! (Yes I am a bit biased - I’m a student member of Gray’s, and I would really love to attend an event here because usually I’m not quite as fabulously dressed as I will be for this!)
